Reporting issues with verge collection items being out too early or causing an obstruction.

Verge collection dates

  • Green and bulk waste verge collections are scheduled at different times throughout the year.
  • To find out your next collection date, refer to our My Neighbourhood page and use your address to search for upcoming collection dates. 

Timeframes

  • Bulk garden organics can be placed on the verge no more than seven days prior to the commencement date and no later than 6am Monday on the week of collection. Refer to our Bulk Garden Organics Collection information for further details.
  • Bulk waste can be placed on the verge no more than two days prior to the commencement date and no later than 6am Monday on the week of collection. Refer to our Bulk Waste Verge Collection information for further details.

Obstructions/safety issues

If the bulk verge collection is creating a safety issue or causing an obstruction, then you can report this for investigation. Examples of obstructions include:
  • glass on the verge as part of the collection (contaminated waste that is a safety issue)
  • large pile obstructing view
  • a skip bin on the verge obstructing view.

  • If a verge collection is out too early, or is creating a safety issue/causing an obstruction, please click on the correct request type below to raise a report.
  • An Officer will take action within the next 48 hours.
